Servers

Cherokee Country Club is looking for energetic and dedicated servers to join our staff. With Golf season fast approaching, now is the time to apply. Servers will be responsible for knowing the menu, having a positive attitude and providing the best possible customer service. Experience is preferred, but will train the right individual.

Golf Shop Assistant Manager

Employee will assist with the day to day operations including managing and tracking play, protecting and controlling assets, supervising golf staff and providing excellent customer service to all members and guests. Depending on experience, employee may assume responsibility, with additional compensation, of tournaments and events, merchandising, training and coaching staff, or professional golf instruction.

Grounds Maintenance

Full-time or Part-time Seasonal help needed.

– Operate mowing equipment and other course maintenance equipment utilized to maintain the golf course.
– Operate hand equipment used to trim areas and mow in areas bigger equipment cannot operate.
– Cut grass including fairways, tee areas, collars/approaches, greens, roughs, and course area as directed.
– Trim trees and brush around walks, flower beds, and walls. Edge in areas in directed, use blower as needed.
– Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth and remove damaged leaves, branches and twigs.
– Maintain sand traps, change cups and markers, service ball washers, maintain cart paths, landscape areas, and clean and maintain restrooms on the course (if applicable).
– Assist the chemical technician and irrigation technician as needed.
– Keep all areas free of trash and debris. Sweep maintenance building to maintain clean work environment. Shovel snow from walks and driveways as needed.
– Replace water coolers as needed.
– Plant flowers, grass, trees, and shrubs.
– Water course as directed.
– Repair fencing, gates, walls, and walks. Clean out culverts and drainage ditches.
– Perform general maintenance items such as painting and minor repair work.
– Perform all job duties in a safe manner including the use of personal protective equipment as directed by supervisor.
– Complete other projects as assigned.
