We offer a variety of opportunities for adults to enjoy their game and continue to work on their form and technique. Monthly mixed doubles events, club tournaments, and year-round leagues on our indoor hard courts and outdoor clay courts are just the beginning of Cherokee Tennis.

Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis is a high energy fitness class that combines the best features of tennis with cardiovascular exercise. It is a fast-paced social class conducted on the tennis courts providing the ultimate workout for each person.

Fall Cardio Tennis

We offer adult singles and doubles leagues, from a 3.0 to a 4.5 NTRP rating level, all year long. In summer, we take advantage of the weather and schedule a 9-week league session on our outdoor clay courts. Players register for our doubles leagues on an individual basis, so there’s no stress in trying to find a partner when you’re new to the club.

Fall League

Mixed Doubles

Our members often enjoy playing in round-robin style mixers once a month on Friday nights. In the summertime, we play outdoors on the clay courts. We are always happy to help find you a partner, and work hard to match everyone up with players of their level. See the link below for a schedule of upcoming mixer nights.

Fall Mixed Doubles

We offer group drills with our instructional staff at all times of day. We arrange the drills by level, such as a women’s 3.0-3.5 drill or co-ed 4.0-and-above drill. The focus in most drills is on tactics and strategy, with mechanical stroking adjustments made on the fly. Rates vary depending on the size of the group. Click on the link below for open drop-in drills, or contact Julie Mathison for information regarding other private groups that may have room for more!
