Mission Statement: Cherokee Fitness Center's mission is to provide a safe, comfortable and user-friendly environment where members can achieve their fitness goals. Our fitness professionals are dedicated to providing members with consistent support, motivation and inspiration to reach their goals. Whether you wish to work out on our state of the art cardio and strength machines or take a class, we have it all.

Cherokee offers exciting and cutting-edge classes that focus on long-term results for our members. Our instructors will help you try something new, break through a plateau or start your fitness journey. All classes are included in your Cherokee Country Club membership.

Featured Classes:

Senior Stretch Class

Monday-Friday 7:45am
The morning stretch class is the longest running fitness class at Cherokee. This group of dedicated fitness enthusiasts comes week after week to keep in shape and stay fit. Over the years, they have built a great deal of camaraderie and long-lasting friendships while focusing on their exercise routines. The instructors focus on gentle, slow and easy movements that help keep participants' joints and muscles flexible to get the day started right.

Tennis Agility Training *NEW*

Thursday 4:30-5:30pm (Meet by racquetball courts)
This is a great class for tennis players looking to improve their speed and strength on the court.

  • Lateral quickness
  • Direction change
  • Maximum speed
  • Footwork
  • Power development
  • Vertical and lateral jump


Personal Training/Nutritional Counseling

Personal Training:
Cherokee personal trainers are sincerely interested in you. We promise to help you attain your fitness and wellness goals. You and your personal trainer will work together on a one-on-one basis where we will provide you with constant instruction, information and motivation. If you and your friends prefer to work as a group, we also offer small group training options.

Nutritional Counseling:
Our nutritional counseling will work with each member individually to come up with a nutritional plan that is right for YOU. We customize plans based on food preferences, height, weight, gender, goals, body composition and daily schedule. With exercise, this plan will allow you to achieve all of your health and wellness goals.

Youth Fitness

Our Youth Fitness Program is a fantastic opportunity to help your child improve physical fitness levels and build confidence. Youth have an ability to dramatically increase their bone density in a way that adults cannot. Taking advantage of this through Youth Strength and Youth Core classes will strive to reduce the risk of sport injury as well as improve overall fitness level.

The program includes Youth Strength and Youth Core classes for those members age 10 and older.
